Francella Fiallos (she/her) is a front-end web developer who made the switch to tech after a decade in the community broadcasting and arts non-profit sectors. Trained as a journalist, she brings an analytical and inquisitive lens to fast-paced environments in order to troubleshoot, solve problems, and manage complex projects.

Outside of coding, she's a radio host, Polaris Music Prize juror, and board member for Debaser, an Ottawa/Gatineau DIY-arts organization.

The Film Factory

Here is where you can find my weekly radio show, Superconnected, which airs on CKCU 93.1FM in Ottawa, CJLO 1690AM in Montreal and CKDU 88.1FM in Halifax. Episodes are available on-demand on Mixcloud.

Superconnected

Superconnected is the weekly radio show I have produced since 2016 airing on CJLO 1690AM, CKDU 88.1FM, and CKCU 93.1FM. It is an eclectic program with a focus on guitar-driven, post-punk music and obscure classics from so-called Canada.

CBC Music

The Ten is a one-hour weekly radio program on CBC Music. Each episode took an in-depth look at one of the 10 albums nominated for the 2021 Polaris Prize. I hosted two episodes that, respectively, focused on Leanne Betasamosake Simpson's Theory of Ice and Dominique Fils-Aimé's Three Little Words.
